FLATFILEgalleries is a one-of-a-kind venue designed by noted architects Claudia Skylar and James Mastro. We have 6,000 square feet, complete with a full kitchen, three bathrooms, and gallery space on two levels, making it a breeze to plan the event or wedding of your dreams. Our spaciousness, high ceilings, fresh white walls, and art-as-backdrops is perfect for up to 100 guests for a sit-down dinner, or as many as 250 guests for a cocktail reception. By using only one of the levels, we are able to provide a more intimate atmosphere for smaller gatherings. The unique ambiance, ease of parking, and sheer size of FLATFILEgalleries sets us apart from other rental spaces.

The personal touch of our staff is an added bonus. Your special occasion will run smoothly through our creative energy, artistic insight, and background in hosting a variety of events. Working one-on-one with you, we can assist you with caterers, florists, party rentals, and other details. We work with many event planners and caterers in a variety of price ranges, one of which will be right for you and your budget. We also offer special pricing for not-for-profit organizations. Our outstanding art, combined with candles, flowers, alternative lighting, and music, will transform the gallery into the ideal setting for your event. The fact that our exhibitions are scheduled at least 18 months in advance allows us to provide a preview of the exhibition that will be hanging during your event, and if you haven't yet set a date, may even help you choose one.

For the art-minded bride and groom, who already have life's necessities, or anyone interested in starting or expanding an art or photography collection, FLATFILEgalleries also provides a gift registry. The gallery features artwork by emerging and established artists with over 1,000 photographs, works on paper, and contemporary art in all media to choose from. Your guests can purchase a unique gift from among the pieces you have registered for, or apply their money toward a higher priced piece. This allows you to own art that will bring you lasting joy because you chose it yourself!
